bert transmission not shifting into Reverse????

i am having trouble getting my bert trans to shift into reverse, i have shorted the shifter rod to many different positions and still no luck. any ideas what else i could do to fix it??

Has it been rebuilt since last used or did it just start not going into reverse. I just dealt with this issue today on mine. I rebuilt the trans this winter and thought I shifted it thru all the gears on the bench but once it was in the car it would not go into reverse. It turns out I installed the top shaft that runs high and low upside down. Turned it over and everything works fine.

yeah it was rebuilt and that could be the same issue with mine, ill have to take a look, thanks for the feedback

this is a very easy thing to do and to fix simply drive the pin out of the fork and rotate the shaft 180 degrees and reinstall the pin there is no need to pull the shaft out.
