Tire life?

When I bought my modified it came with several sets of rims and tires but I have no way to tell the age of the tires. Between grinding and tire preps do tires ever get too old?

Yes they can get old and crack. They also get hard. Buy a new tire and check it with a durometer and then check the ones you have.

Then grind the tires you have and buy track claw and soften them to the new tires
