    engine question

looking at a motor would like some feed back on. all it needs is a cam and pistons, here is what i know about it.

    400 sbc
All engine work has been done. Bored .30 Over.
    New Cam Bearings.
    new freeze plugs
Set of Pro Comp Aluminum Heads 64cc 202 valves.
    Victor Jr Aluminum Intake.
    New Starter.
    Set of headers.
Also Have all of the stock parts to go with it.

i have worked on cars for years but not much on engine side of racing, lookin to get motor for my modified and this is at a very reasonable price all is new in block but have about a 5 hour travel to get. being my first car that i am racing looking to get feedback on if this would be a good one to grab. thanks

stock block 400's will work if done right and the procomps will also work if there a good set. like anything else preperation and attention to detail will go along way. on that note some stock blocks are not worth the money spent anymore with after market blocks being so cheap.
