when i jack the car up in front of the lr the chassis comes up maybe a 1 1/2 and then the lr comes off the ground shouldnt the lr axle tube hit the underslug bar when i jack it up before it comes off the ground

Chain limiting the travel? Different things that can cause the LR to not fall: shock bent/binding, not enough travel in shock, slider bent/binding, bad heims, and the pull bar binding.

the birdcage is welded to the housing with a slider on it even with the bird cage welded it should hit before it comes off the ground right

Three link? Yes, it drop more than that. Shock topping out or the slider topping out.

slider was topping out thanks now it will roll when i jack it up untill it hits the tube that should help my problem in the other post right?
