    Birdcage question

Friend of mine Just switched from REALLY old Teflon style birdcages to WEHRS Roller bearing birdcages on an older Throwin dirt mod. The old style had no adjustments. The new sets have a ton. My question is what spacing should there be between the top and bottom rods to begin with? I know Rocket late model you put the top bars in the top hole and then the bottoms bars are different didnt know if the same is true on a mod?

top and bottom bars should be 4.5" from axle tube centerline to start with.

Set them the same as what you had. This will give you a good base to begin with.
