biscuit pull bar mounting direction? and spacing at housing

I have a shaw mod with the shaw biscuit pull bar.

Does it matter which end I connect to the chassis? Brake side or pull side?
This wishbone style bar looks like it doesn't matter which way it is oriented, just wondering if it really matters?

I have been running it centered over the rearend - how can I use the mounting position over the rearend to tune, i.e., move to left or center =???? vs. move to right of center =????

Not familiar with your bar but the ones we have run, it didn't matter, but call Shaw for the correct information. Good luck.
