I have something going on with my RF spindle. I never noticed it when I put it together, but when I went to install my caster camber gauge it would not fit. The Allen bolt that holds that adapter on the gauge is hitting the spindle. I noticed that the rotor was almost hitting the spindle. I don't see anything wrong, but there is definitely some thing going on.

I bought a new caster/camber gauge this year and had the same problem. I just swapped out the allen head bolt for another bolt with a smaller head. I also have to remove the coter key in order for it to sit flush against the rotor. As far as your rotor almost hitting the spindle, something could be bent.
