Canyon Speedway Park, Central Arizona Raceway, Arizona Speedway. 75 percent or more of the races were win by crates.

[QUOTE=stock car driver;1750635]I80 isn't imca they let opened up crates race there. That place is completely irrelevant.[QUOTE]

LOL, I knew you would say that. So Dylan Smith ran a cheated up crate engine? Jared Hoefelman? I-80 is IMCA except for allowing quick changes and 2bbl running a 3" spoiler.

I 80 isn't imca Andy. They don't tech body rules, deck height, frame modifications, and allow worked on opened up crates.

I don't know if Dylan ran a opened one or not, I never asked him. I can't think of a reason why he wouldn't since there are lots of them around for sale that have been opened up.

A non sanctioned nascar track that half ass copies the rules is irrelevant and u know it.

They teched just as much as Harlan did and I have yet seen an IMCA track tech body rules except for the stupid 2" tire clearance rule. I thought Dylan was on the same Friesen plan Jesse was on?

Andy, that's not true at all, IF you ever make tech youll see what they check. My deck height was measured 5 times of the 15 I raced my mod last year at IMCA tracks.

Several of the IMCA racers parked around me at the cornhusker raised their decks at the rear a inch or two upon arrival, because its a known fact they said it wont be measured...

I already gave you a list of rules they don't enforce but why you want to argue this stupid (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word) is beyond me? what is your point? the track isn't imca, they allow opened up crates, quick changes etc. Unless you checked for seals yourself you have no clue who is running what. It takes most of us 45 minute or less to change a engine, they are bolted in not welded in the car.

If you didn't see the sport mods and a mods with cut out sail panels at the cornhusker you are blind. Or the very low noses they ran there much lower than IMCA allows.

So you base the entire season at I-80 on one special at the end of the year when they allowed open engines to run a spoiler?

Where did I say anything about open engines at all?

Seriously Andy Ive met you, you've been to my house, your not as stupid as your trying to play here...

That track has zero credibility when talking about IMCA rules, and anyways....Ive talked via text months ago with Brett the head of IMCA and according to their stats there weren't any tracks completely dominated by crates. But there are a bunch of tracks that had zero crate wins and a whole bunch more with 1-2 crate wins all year.

Im sure powerslide knows more about it than brett despite the fact that he doesn't race IMCA or race much if it all.

The entire season at nrp is irrelevant when your discussing imca rules. Nrp isn't IMCA and allows enough stuff that I would run a completely different car there if I were going to race there regularly just like other people do.

Fact is SCD only chooses what fits his bill at that time. Here are some quotes from this thread that he fails to address or says they are “just one race”
-Fall nationals in hays ks was dominated by crates, Top 4 all crates.
-Top 3 at $5000 to win show in Salina, KS were crates as well.
-Canyon Speedway Park, Central Arizona Raceway, Arizona Speedway. 75 percent or more of the races were won by crates.

This thread is about the crate/open motor. Not how many times I have raced or you have raced, please stay on subject. It seems you resort to throwing mud when you cannot provide answers. This will be my last response to this Jeff so have a good one.

Ive got no bill to fit. Im just a racer, who unlike you has been at 50 plus races this year and seen the weekly results first hand.

Beatrice was all crates in the top 4 also so was harris clash so was tiny lund the list goes on and on at special events. When all the top guys have crates that's going to be the case.

                              Crate

I think the guys running up front would be up front reather they had a crate or open motor, with the crate they can do it cheaper with a more reliable motor than an open motor. Thats my opinion.
I think its funny at most tracks when they dry out the b mods are turning just as fast lap times as the a mods and there old technology lol its about getting all the power to the ground its easier to do with less HP

At tracks around me where they have transponders and post the speeds the sportmods r usually faster in the feature.
