Out of what car has the best 605 steering box? I seen on another forum that a 84 camaro box was a good one. Was looking at buying a Cardone rebuilt one from Oreillys for $129.

If you can, put a Sweet box on it. Stronger and you can you do not have to use a quickner. The 605 is okay, but can break if you hit wheels.

Throw the 605 in the junk pile...! I went through 5 of them in five seasons and the last one put me in the wall...! Any kind of a front wheel hit and they are junk, even a mild hit...! Don't chance it, buy a good Sweet box for a couple more $ because when you can't steer smoothly or at all nothing else matters...!Comment

605 box does not have the 4 bolt aluminum top on it.I think there should be lifeguards in the genepool.Comment
