    Rear End

Our car had a 60" 2" offset in it and now going to a 62" with 2" offset, Do I need to leave my j bar length or make it longer with this wider housing?

whats the reason your going with a 62 in rear over a 60in , also what does your chassis require.

Don't understand why you would be going to a wider housing either. To keep the rearend centered, the j-bar would need to be 1" longer. 60/2-2=28. 62/2-2=29
Bill W. and Dr. Bob......who could have known.

if you are wanting to keep the driveshaft running straight, use the same length j-bar. If you are trying to keep, for example, the right rear tire location you would run a 1" shorter one. Or a 1" longer one to keep the left rear tire location.
