    Rebuilding a Brinn

When do you guys decide to overhaul/rebuild/refresh your Brinn? I know you can take the slave cylinder off and measure the pins to see how much the clutches are worn. But is that a good thing to go by? I have 2 seasons on a complete rebuild. When I measured the pins after last season the clutches were barely worn. I haven't measured them now, was just gonna pull the side cover off and inspect the internals.

I ran one for almost 8 years without a rebuild. I took it apart and checked everything each year, sealed it back up and raced it. All I changed was a tail shaft bushing and seal each year.
I think there should be lifeguards in the genepool.
