What would be the effects on handling by leading the left rear to much? What would you consider to much lead would be? This is on a 2 link imca sport mod.

I would trail the right side, 1/2 at the most but some people has gone farther

Just remember if you lead the lr, most racing sanctions have a 72in measurement from mtr plate. Best of luck.

So trailing the right rear and leading the left rear will have the same effect regardless of side? Just be careful of the 72" rule. I ask cause we picked up a car that was leading the left rear by a little over 3/4".

Just know that it won't be EXACTLY the same because leading the LR you will shorten a trailing arm, trailing the RR you will be lengthening one. This will provide either a slightly quicker or slower reaction through the bars. Might not even be able to tell any difference by the seat of your pants.

Most cars are setup with a 16" bar on the left side so you cant shorten it and be legal, keep an eye on that. That is why almost all sportmods will lengthen the right side bar to increase static steer.

are you leading the lr to loosen the car or are you trying to gain thrust?

We bought the car setup this way. We haven't ran it yet just been going over it.
