    Oil cooler

    Can someone enlighten me on the size and type of hoses I need to use on an oil cooler on a 602 crate.Thanks

    Wet Sump engines -10 and Dry Sump engines -12

        Just my .02 but Aeroquip Steel Braided or equivalent. Its not as much a pressure thing as it is a chafing and rock damage thing. If there is one thing Im gone protect it an exposed engine oil line, but thats just me.

          I used -12 steel brainded and have had no issues. And yes it's to protect them as every night I run there's some kind of mud that got flung at them imagine the rocks on the dry that get tossed up there???

          A good question is what is the life of an oil line on a wet sump engine with cooler setup?
