Converting to a 3 link

I'm looking at buying a modified and rules would require either a leaf spring or 3 link, how hard would it be to convert a leaf car to a 3 link or a 4 bar back to 3 link? I've never messed with this before so I'm wanting to see how much work it'd take. Thanks for any advice

It would take me about two hours to cut, grind, weld and paint.

Leaf car to three link would be adding brackets for the bars and pull bar. Four link to three link, removing or pinning birdcages and just using lower bars. Very simple change.

Forgot to mention. On the leaf car, you would need to add a j-bar or panhard bar mount also.
