    IMCA Sportmod Spoiler

Has anyone done any testing with not running a spoiler or a smaller one?

I have seen some run without. Pretty sure I haven't seen any run shorter than the 5". Size of track will make a difference. If you run 3/8 or bigger it would probably be better to run the full 5".

Maybe its just me, but I want the biggest spoiler the rules will allow. Why would you want to give up rear downforce if you didnt have to?

Anybody who has ever had their spoiler get knocked off or damaged knows what difference it makes . Had one of my cars get his knocked off and he proceeded to spin out on entry 2 times , came in said car was junk , 1/3 mile track . Same thing goes for the nose , lose it and the car won't turn on entry . Aero matters .
