Spring rates for the extra 50#

When running a non-spec head USRA motor that has aluminum heads and you have to add the 50# in front of the plate, do you typically go up 25 or more on the front spring rates?

This is for someone that I am helping out who bought a motor from me. He is a non-internet person and likes to see in "writing" what other opinions are. I have convinced him to leave his front springs alone. Now the question is: "Where should I mount the lead?"

I say on the top bars in front of the motor plate, back from center of valve covers toward the backmost hood pins. 25# on each side.

Any thoughts for me to share with him?

That's so close to the center mass of the car I would try it with what ever springs you normally use before changing anything else.
