We went to 4-4 this year and fought the same issues and also to much RR rebound making it skate on entry I think the Z link RR could be something worth you looking at.

Meaning from a visual stand point as well... Seems mainly on throttle is when that rr starts to skate. Are you strapped rr? What's RR spring? What's the degree of rr spring? What j bar split? What's rf shock?Originally posted by stock car driveryep that's what I think that's what the post is about.

I think rr is hiking up too much making car loose on throttle taking away that lr drive. Try 1" slack rough. Is you Rr upper bar running up hill over 10* by feature? But my thoughts from watching is on throttle it's unloading rr.

Yes 1" from static ride height, It's a great tool on smoother tracks some say don't run it on rough but it doesn't seem to be a killer in the rough just makes negotiating traffic harder.

The 4/4 is notorious for not being able to feel the rr. Your not the only one. From seeing your info, I would do 2 things: 1) Keep putting angle in your jbar. 2) Reduce left side %. Your going to have to do these things at the same time, and a little at a time. For example, if your running 6" split in jbar, go 6 1/4, and reduce your left side % .3% at a time. With these crates, it wont take long to make it too tight. If you were on an open motor, I would say go 1 1/2" under pinion with 7" split and 52.5% left. Not sure if the crate would be able to turn at that point. Anyway, I think you have so much left side % that its not letting it get onto the RR effectively.

I see you finished 3rd. Was the track the condition you were looking for to try the adjustments?
