Is there a torque rating on the bolts holding the drive flange to the crank? This is my first dealings with a bert and I don't wanna screw up.Regards

my torque spec chart says:
80ft lbs for a dry 7/16-20 bolt.
if u oil the head of bolt for lube, and lock-tite the threads I would say 60ft. lbs.I think there should be lifeguards in the genepool.

The type of bolt will make the biggest difference on torque values. The point of torque measuring is too stretch the bolt for maximum clamping pressure without permanent distortion. Adding oil reduces the torque needed to reach the stretch limit. 60 lbs-ft is a pretty good number using new high quality bolts. That's a grade 5 or grade 8 bolt. 5 is better for added elasticity. If using an aftermarket bolt follow their recommendations.

for tool steel allen bolts.
80/60 should be close enough if you have already done it.I think there should be lifeguards in the genepool.
