What is the advantage or disadvantages of a modified with 4 link ls 3 link rs?

It is said that it's a tight set up and that's what is on my car. Metric front end and the driver loves it.

With the 3 link rs, its like making you fight with one hand behind your back. However, if the track is always tacky it would be fine. With the 4 link, you can make the birdcage index into the spring more which can give you more sidebite, basically, you just have more options on fine tuning.
