Hi guys, I have a 3 link Bmod and having trouble hooking on a slick track. 1/3 mile, medium bank, and can carry some momentum through corners. Have tried several front springs, and rear bar angles. What is the best way to get forward drive on a 3 link. We have to run solid pullbar/toplink, centered over driveshaft (USRA) Currently have 600-650 in front, 200-175 in rear many shocks on the shelf to choose from

Really need more info. If you have scaled the car post all your wheel weights and percentages. JMO

531/509 front 726/622 rear , 56.5 rear without driver 52.7 left 104 # bite With these scale numbers the springs were 650/625 200/175 rear 5.5" jbar split Rt rear bar 2 degrees up hill to chassis Left rear bar 15 degrees up solid pull bar 18 degrees down to chassis from rear end Chevelle stub car

As dry slick as it gets here in Michigan its not uncommon to see guys running up to 280 pounds of bite with a 3 bar car.

Agree with more bite. Might also look at how much you are leading the LR and how much stagger you are running on the rear tires. Only try one thing at a time so you know what helps. JMO

the fast guys up here have been running some really aggressive shock packages. We tried a set with a 6/3 LF 3/8 RF with a 14/1 LR and 3/4 RR and just didnt seem to get any traction. Switched to an off the wall set up from a forum member with more of a balanced shock package and was faster by 2 tenths. His recommendations were 4/4 LF 3/5 RF 4/4 LR and 3/4 RR Seemed to work ok and car wasnt so crazy up on rear and nosed down. Is it just the norm that everyone is going super aggressive with shocks?

I would leave the setup alone , and decrease the rear stagger only. Those changes will affect the entry and the exit.
