    Need More Sidebite

Looking to get more side bite on A40. Running 6 inch split in J bar and 1050 lbs spring in pull bar. Car has good forward traction but lacks side bite from entry into center of corner. Typically run 2.5 to 3 in stagger. As the race goes on I can feel it overheating RR which makes side bite problem worse as race goes on. Any suggestions?

I would say, lower your J bar equally chassis and pinion, keeping your 6in split. Start with 1/2 in and see how it feels. That wont help your RR heat issue, sounds like you might want to soften that RR spring some.

      1) increase angle in jbar or lower both ends
      2) drop right bottom bar
      3) stiffen LF spring
      4) raise lead on chassis and/or battery/fuel cell
