Reassembly questions

Right now I'm working on putting a Kraft kar back together and I got a couple of questions. The car did not come with a center section for the 9 in so the j-bar was not bolted up. The rear end is tilted way back and I can not figure out how to loosen the pull bar ( spring pullbar) to get the j bar back on it. It's a 4 bar car if that helps.Question #2 I have a bert ball spline in it and the yoke will not slide out is the normal or should it slide out easy?

You shouldnt need to loosen the pullbar just push the rearend over what way you need it to go to hook it back up which wld prly be to the right side shld move fairly easy since the jbar isnt hooked up
