body fabrication questions

im trying to figure out how people put the radiuses in the nose or hood. i tried on my last car by bendind the sides down and crimping them to get the radius but it leaves the middle of the hood crowned. tried to use a peice of pipe to get the middle to bend but ended up kinking it. Any body have any tips or tricks to form it? kinda limited on tooling but can fabricate stuff. thanks in advance!!!

Put a roll/radius in it before your the bends. Is pre stresses the metal. Then make your brakes, then the crimpers.
