indexing birdcages?

Quick question when you index your birdcage which way do you index .this is 4/4 bar dw11 Lr spring behind. Also how many degrees do you index.

Typically when people just say "index" they are talking about indexing into the spring. So if LR Spring Behind you would shorten your Left Rear Upper bar and Lengthen you Left Rear Lower bar. I've always liked to keep my base setup 0* to 0.5* into the spring. And adjust if needed. Ive seen some base setups call for 2.5*. Most you will see is probably 5*.
