    engine set back

    if i could get any idea as to how far these engines are set back from stock location would be a lot of help to me , i'm building a car thats similar to a mod but having trouble with headers and i need to know where i can start looking for headers oh yeah and it is a ford, thanks in advance

    On modifieds, the engine is set back roughly 18" from stock. 72" from the centerline of the rear axle to the front of the midplate is the rule to be exact.

      thanks that helps i have mine set back 14" so modified headers should work
