new seat belts

Ive always used Impact belts and never had a problem loosening or tightening belts, but i just threw in some new platinum simpson belts and WHOA, i have to manually feed the belt through the buckle to loosen them and theres no "pull the belts tight" I have to grab the material, pull, twist and yank the life out of it to tighten up.
any tips?

I have had some other cheaper brands years ago that were the same way, I quit using those ones......

Once I started using IMPACT belts, I haven't used any other belt. Their hardware is so much better than the others I have used.

I sold 80 plus race ready cars a few years ago and I think I was putting rjs belts in them, I had tried g force and something else and both were impossible to tighten like your describing.
