Pierce mod with 6th coil question

We had a old style (07) Pierce mod that that had a rubber cushion for a 6th coil instead of a chain. Is this still used? If not, what is being used for a 6th coil on this type of car? We run one now with rubber pucks but I don't think it works like the old style did.
