I was just wondering if any one was spraying anything on the tires when grinding them?

If you seen smoke when your grinding tires your need to change your method.
If your going a different direction and are talking about chemical treating the tires then I dont know if anyone is going to openly help ya on a forum.
If your not going down the chemical tire prep road then the best thing you can do is pressure wash the dirt/mud off them ASAP after a night of racing. Simple green also works very good if you spray it on, then scrub it with a stiff brush and pressure wash clean, then once dry grind the tires. I preferred to use a wheel with sharp screws in it and change the screws out every couple weeks. I called mine "the wheel of death", dont even let that thing get away from ya
