    Yoke spacing @ the trans?

What should the distance be between the end of the transmission, and the top of the yoke? (I E) how much of the yoke in trans? how much out?.... Setting on jack stand.. Thanks...

Needs to be at least 2" inside the trans, and no closer than 2" from bottoming out in the trans

Yep^^^^, If you are using the long yoke, push it all the way in until it bottoms out, then pull it out 2 inches. Then measure center to center of ujoints for driveshaft length. I have never had a driveshaft come out using this method.
