3 speed saginaw slip yoke ?

have modified with speed traanny went to put 6 inch slip yoke in but bottoms out is it hitting the speedo gear? if so can i just remove speedo gear and will that allow it to go in farther

yes take it out i took mine out and put an a rubber expansion plug in hole just to keep the dirt out and the fluid from leaking out

does the housing go all the way threw after the gear is taken out

You will need to take the tail shaft out and cut it down on a lathe from the end of the splins in about 2" so the shaft is just smaller then the bottom of the splins i hope that makes sents
