parts cleaner solvent

What do most of you use in your parts cleaner. Some of the stuff is like $11 a gallon. Years ago we use to just use kerosene. Not sure if that is safe or not.

odorless mineral spirits is what I use.

Thanks. I got to checking kerosene prices and WOW the prices went up. Last time I bought a 5 gallon can it was about $10. Now $40. Crazy.

There's some stuff that you can find at farm supply stores called PSC 1000. I haven't personally used it but my engine builder uses it and he like it. I saw it in action at his shop and it will be what I buy when I need more stuff.
