Lost low gear in my Bert Transmission

After the feature last night, as the car idled down I shifted back to low to pull in the pits, however low gear didn't work anymore. I shifted back to neutral and then into low and nothing. I'm taking it to be looked at but has anyone experienced this before? Its a regular Bert ballspline. I just like a heads up so I know about what he's gonna say.

Did you also loose reverse? Do you have a firm clutch pedal? If you lost low and reverse AND have a soft brake pedal you have a hydraulic problem (bad clutch master cylinder, bad fluid cylinder cup in the tail stock, or leaking clutch hose. If you lost low and reverse AND have a firm clutch pedal you may have tore up the clutch discs. If you still have reverse and only lost low gear you may have bent the shift fork (you would have really had to force the shifter to do this). Check your fill plug to see if you have any large shrapnel on it.

A droop rule is like infield tractor tires, everyone knows it's stupid, but they still keep doing it.

Sounds like the clutch is out.
My sarcasm is a pre-emptive strike to your stupidity!!
