    What's the best header for a 602 crate engine?

      there is no "best"
      headers are a give and take
      1 design will take from one end of the power band and give to the other
      another design will do the opposite
      the trick is to add to one side and not "take" as much from the other

      1st order of business is the flange ---CORRECT header flange
      make sure your header flange is NOT covering any of the exhaust port and also make sure that it is not so big that it may lose a seal when put into use

          Are the 602 ports the same as the 604 ports

              Pretty sure the 602 takes a std SBC header flange, the 604 flange has bolts offset from std.
