    602/ Carb Jets

Going to be purchasing a 602 , any recommendations on carbs and Jets? Allowed to run a 650 and going to use the 260 Sunoco , believe it's 98 octane track mandated...I'm new here any help would be greatly appreciated ..

if your buying this engine used and getting a carb with it---ask the seller what type of fuel they were using
if it was a non oxygenated gasoline then try it as is
if there are any heating or drivability issues then start looking to make changes

if you are buying new ---I absolutely recommend to buy a carb specifically built and calibrated for a crate
there are several excellent builders out there and I am sure some folks will chime in with different names.

I hate to see a guy buy a carburetor 3 times----go to the pro's on the 1st purchase

there is a lot more to it than just jets
