Hi, new here , just bought a 602..Have to run manifolds I've been told a LT 1 , but a local engine builder said the 3\4 Chevy truck manifolds are better...Any suggestions ? Thank you

Ive Ran LT1's and some log style manifolds from the 70's on the dyno, they both work well. Not sure which 3/4 ton truck manifolds your guy is talking about, but the ones I ran didnt have any smog stuff on them. The LT1's are lighter, easy to find, dont "shrink" and need spreaders to allow them to be bolted up.... But the old truck manifolds dont have to be re-drilled and you can use all the mounting holes in the heads, thats not the case with the LT1's. Eric -
