    Running fine during the heat..Then

First of all i have a driver that was in the car so I'm going by what he told me. I watched the car coming to the checkered flag and slow down and stop. The driver said it lost power then shut off. He said he didn't hear any odd noise coming from the motor. Got the car back to the pits. Tried to fire the motor back up and would barely turn over. It appears the power to the gauges and switch is there. The motor was about 220 while we tried this. Usually 200 racing.
I do plan on pulling the plugs and try to turn the motor over by hand and compression check it. If that is good I'm thinking something electrical ??

Do you run a remote starter relay? If not your starter can be getting hot and engaging.
My sarcasm is a pre-emptive strike to your stupidity!!

Pulled the oil filter. Shiny metal flakes. Time to rebuild
