Sb2 cam

Curious if anyone knows if the cams for the sb2.2 block with sb2.2 heads will work in a standard block with the sb2.2 heads? I know the journals will need ground down but not sure if they will work since the lifter location is different between the 2 blocks. Thanks

The lifter bores are farther apart on a SB2.2 block so the lobes are not on the correct place to be used in a STD block. The lifter would not be lined up with the lobes.
