I have a 383 block that was run with 5.7 rods. I am going to run 6.0 rods. Will I have to clearance the block anymore?

Depends on the rods that you are going to run. My 383 last year had the Scat 7/16" capscrew 6" I-beams and we did not have to clearance the block at all. I was totally shocked, but when we mocked it up, everything cleared with no grinding. -
if your going to run h beam rods the block will need clearanced at the oil pan rails.Comment
