Will 2701 intake fit 230 dart platinums?

I had a guy tell me that dart platinum 230 intake runners will stick up above the intake on a 2701 performer rpm? Does that sound right? I bought a motor with those heads but need to change to the 2701 intake and now I'm worried. All help is appreciated, thanks

A lot of views so far but not one reply? Has no one seriously tried that big of a intake runner with that intake?

The 230 head has a 2.23 x 1.26 port and uses a 1206 gasket. The 2701 intake uses a Fel-Pro 1205 gasket with 2.09 x 1.28. You should be able to get an idea of how close it'll be with your intake by laying gaskets over the ports.
