    can this one be used without a motor plate??

      probably not.........but

      you could bolt up your bell housing and trans without your clutch installed . see if the trans slides up all the way easily and look in the clutch fork hole and make sure you are not bottoming the splines of the input shaft up against the bushing. if theres a little room left between the splines and the bushing you should be good to go. you dont want to push your input shaft back into the trans.
