    Leaky Pipes Blues

Our place has been giving us trouble with random leaks popping up in the walls, and last month the kitchen ceiling started dripping right before a family dinner. We patched it twice, but I feel like we are just buying time. The house is over 40 years old, so I am thinking it might be smarter to look into a whole home repiping. Any recommendations on where to start?

We had a similar nightmare a few years back—random leaks, a ceiling that decided to flood during a holiday dinner… it felt like we were playing whack-a-mole with water. We patched, patched again, and then realized it was like putting a Band-Aid on a broken bone. Our place was also pushing 40+ years, so we bit the bullet and looked into whole-home repiping. I ended up finding a really helpful guide that broke down what to expect and how to plan it: whole home repiping . Honestly, it made the decision way less scary. Now, leaks are basically history and dinner prep is stress-free!
