Over Heating help

I have always ran 50/50, 50% anitfreeze and 50 % water, should i just run plane water plus water wetter or what? I wanting to know what some other people are using and see if i can try something differtent. It is a ford 358ci dirt late model with mechincal fan and single pass radiator with 15% reduction pulleys turing it about 7500 rpm

Anti freeze is just that, it will cause the water to warn faster and will not cool as well as water with an addative. No restrictor, good fan single pass rad, water with ice or prestone rust inhibitor or any of the other name brand stuff, Good shroud, and soak the radiator every once and awhile in a kiddie pool. Go to Stewart components web site and live by the tech tips and help answers. Never had a single cooling issue going by these rules.
