    Replacing Worn Furniture

Several pieces of fitted furniture in our home have started showing their age after years of daily use. Instead of replacing everything with mass produced options, I'd like something built to last. Has anyone worked with experienced joiners in London that they'd happily recommend? Looking for quality craftsmanship and a smooth experience.

We had the same issue with our old fitted units getting scuffed and loosening after years of use. A friend of mine swapped to bespoke pieces from a local joiner and the difference was night and day — better fit, sturdier finish, and no “almost right” gaps. For London, I’d start with ambjoinery.london/about-us since it gives a good sense of their approach and the sort of work they take on.
