One of the bedroom windows developed a crack this week, and I’d rather repair it than replace the entire window frame. It seems like a fairly straightforward glazing job, but I don’t want to risk using someone who does rushed work. Has anyone had glazing repairs done recently and can recommend a reliable company that turns up when promised?

A few months ago, a crack appeared in one of our bedroom windows, and we initially assumed the entire frame would need replacing. After a local glazier inspected it, we learned the frame was still in good condition and only the pane required attention. We contacted glazing repairs , and they completed the work neatly and within the agreed timeframe. The room was back to normal with very little disruption. I’d send a photo of the damage first and ask if repairing the existing unit is possible.
