Yup, When we drag races we carried 1/2 inch to 4 inch spacers in 1/2 inch increments and tried them on test/tune time until we came down to far and busted the tires loose then we would add 1/2 inch back and run it. You have to do a little adjusting for the best power at that height but for us it was a tuning tool.
