Bert Tranny Problems

Went to take the car out for a test drive before going to the races and the transmission would not go in gear with the car running. Shut the car off put it in first or reverse, go to start the car and it jumps like the clutch is pushed in. What in the world is going on with this thing? Are the clutches shot?

I have had that happen usually means time for clutch pack rebuild.Clutch pack breaks and takes up clearences in drum.Which causes everthing to keep turning.Wont go in gear.
