    holley 0-80803, proform 67200, or proform 67215?

We have been using a Proform 67212 (650) with choke horn removed on our 14:1 377 turning about 7200 this season. We used the smaller carb to limit power somewhat as I am on a learning curve for driving. Now that we are doing well and racing with the pack, as we prepare for next season, we will be upgrading to a bigger, better carb. The question is:

Running 14:1 377 on gas, Brodix ported -10 heads; cam with powerband designed to run to about 7800. We plan to turn rev limiter up to about 7500. What is the main difference between the Proform 67200 and 67215? There is a nearly $200 difference between the two, and the only advertised difference is the wedged floats and secondary power valve. I am relatively good with carburetor and carb tuning, so would I notice a significant difference between the two?

And, has anyone tried the new Holley Ultra HP carbs? They are similar in price to the quick fuel and proform carbs...any feedback on them?

I don't want to spend more than what these carburetors sell for, so telling me to buy a Willy's or other $1,000 carburetor will do me no good...

    Thanks!

Does anyone have any reviews on the Holley Ultra HP 80803? They are legal for us next year, and I am sure they are better than the 3310 we had to run last year.

Most handling problems can be solved by adjusting the screw-ball. It can be difficult to fine tune at times. Explaining yourself loudly and striking it on top of the helmet with a dead blow hammer usually works well.

        Proform 67200 and 67215

I have had the Proform 67200 for a couple years now. After buying I Installed a set of Moroso Circle track wedge floats & removed the Jet extentions out of secodary's. Has worked very well for me. After the 67215 came out I called Proform tech line & asked what the diff was between mine & new Circle Track Edition. He said 67215 has wedge circle track floats & a P.V. in secondary. I asked why such a price diff & he could not tell me. So I installed a 6.5 P.V. in secondary side & lowered jets by 10 numbers in rear. Currently have 76 jets all the way around & runs perfect on a 401ci roller....

Thank you so much for the reply! That was exactly the information I was looking for! I think you just convinced me of which carburetor to purchase....
