Which carb for smaller motor?

I'm building a mild mod for a rookie driver next year "me" and have a mild 10 to 1 355 with alum heads. Right now it has a 800 holley an I know that's going to be overkill. I'm thinking a basic 650 dp but am open to suggestions. Price is a HUGE factor.

what kind of heads? ive got a 355 w/ imca spec heads its 10.5-1 and it made 570. if its over 500 i think i would go w/ a 750. are you running gas or alchy?

Im going to run gas this season just to learn and make things easy. The heads are the smaller trickflows. We have a swap meet coming up and am going to pick something up hopefully. I have a real nice 800 Holley but I think I'm going to sell or trade it.
