Crew Chief "Tip of the day":
Most handling problems can be solved by adjusting the screw-ball. It can be difficult to fine tune at times. Explaining yourself loudly and striking it on top of the helmet with a dead blow hammer usually works well.
Any other info? Full casting number? Casting date? Markings on the head? Does it have 3/8 accessory holes on the end of the head or 7/16? What size valves?
I know they made a 3998920 casting that is the same as the 441. Even has the same mark on the end of the head.
