    Cylinder head advice please

    putting together a chevy 355 with pretty much stock bottom end parts, 450 lift cam rule cam, stock intake i use like the old z28 one, holley 500 2 barell or may use a quadrajet, and aftermarket headers, what head should i use here is the rule on head.. if u know a casting number and such let me no so i can look some..

    7.Stock production head, no modification of any kind. No double hump or Vortec heads. No angle plug heads on GM cars. No closed chamber (high performance heads) such as 461, 461X, 041, 186, or 492. No minimum C.C. on the heads. No angle milling and cutting inside the valve pocket. No three angle valve job.

    You should be looking for 487, 487X, 882, and there is some debate about the 993's but any of those will work for you. with the 487X being the best in my opinion.
